About Anat BarOr

Hi, My name is Anat BarOr.

I'm a photographer based in Israel. 
I love to photograph ever since I remember myself. I took the first photography course when I was 18 years old. We mainly practiced developing photos in chemical solutions, in dark room. I took some more courses over the years, and the dark room was replaced with a lightroom.  I've been traveling a lot in the world, visiting many interesting places and different cultures (Including India, China, Thailand, Nepal, Costa Rica, Guatemala, Mexico, Cuba, Kenya, Tanzania, Georgia, United States, England, Italy, Spain, Poland, Hungary, Czech Republic, Lithuania, Germany, Greece and of course Israel). I also love music, and especially live concerts, which I love to photograph. I find it most interesting to photograph people, cultures and street life, and most challenging to capture moments and situations that are not staged and will not happen again, in the natural environment of the people and places I photograph. I feel fortunate I have the opportunity to preserve and pass to others the way I see things and how I feel about them. 

I'm single parent to three most amazing boys.  

I studied law in Tel-Aviv University, and for more than 20 years I've been practicing law, between one journey to another.
